Solar Panels

A solar cell panel, solar electric panel, photo-voltaic (PV) module or solar panel is an assembly of photo-voltaic cells mounted in a framework for installation. Solar panels use sunlight as a source of energy to generate direct current electricity.

A collection of PV modules is called a PV panel, and a system of PV panels is called an array. Arrays of a photovoltaic system supply solar electricity to electrical equipment.

A single solar module can produce only a limited amount of power; most installations contain multiple modules adding voltages or current to the wiring and PV system.

A photovoltaic system typically includes an array of photovoltaic modules, an inverter, a battery pack for energy storage, charge controller, interconnection wiring, circuit breakers, fuses, disconnect switches, voltage meters, and optionally a solar tracking mechanism. Equipment is carefully selected to optimize output, energy storage, reduce power loss during power transmission, and conversion from direct current to alternating current.

Solar Inverters (OF / ON / HYBRID)

A solar inverter or PV inverter, is a type of power inverter which converts the variable direct current (DC) output of a photovoltaic (PV) solar panel into a utility frequency alternating current (AC) that can be fed into a commercial electrical grid or used by a local, off-grid electrical network.

Solar power inverters have special functions adapted for use with photovoltaic arrays, including maximum power point tracking and anti-islanding protection.

Solar inverters use maximum power point tracking (MPPT) to get the maximum possible power from the PV array.

Solar inverter is classified in three different types:

Off grid – An off-grid solar inverter is a solar device that works without a utility grid. It converts DC current generated by solar panels into AC current to power your home.

On Grid – An on-grid solar inverter will only work when there is a constant electricity supply from the power grid.

Hybrid – A hybrid solar inverter is the combination of a solar inverter and a battery inverter into a single piece of equipment that can intelligently manage power from your solar panels, solar batteries, and the utility grid at the same time.

All in One Solar Street Lights

All-in-one Solar street lights which provides high illumination in your outdoor premises. This helps you to save your electricity bill by using Power of the Sun.

Integrated as one single unit, this lights includes all the components into the street light itself. Now, there is no longer panels, battery box board on the street light.

Solar Dryer

Drying of food grains in the fields by exposure to sun has been very common in India since ancient times. he industrialization in the present century created a demand for controlled drying of many agricultural products such as tobacco, wood, peaches, resins, etc., since such products retain the flavour, quality and appearance and thus have better sale prospects. The other advantage is that such products could be dried in peak season and made available for consumption throughout the year.

The advantages of solar dryers over traditional open sun drying include –

  • A smaller area of land in order to dry similar amounts of crop
  • Relatively high quality of dry crop, because insects and rodents are unlikely      to infest it during drying
  • Shortened drying period
  • Protection from sudden rain
  • Low capital and running costs.
